Butterscotch Blondies

Gather your ingredients

Cook the butter in a small pan on while stirring consistently. When you see brown bits on the bottom & smell a nutty aroma, stop cooking & let it cool.

Mix the cooled butter with the sugars, cookie butter, egg & vanilla extract. 

Stir in the dry ingredients followed by the chocolate & butterscotch chips.

Bake the bars at 350°F for about 25 minutes - less for gooey & more for firm blondies.

The brown butter & cookie butter compliment the main butterscotch flavor really well! These are such an easy & delicious fall recipe!
