Make sure your yeast is active by adding it to the warm milk, butter & sugar mixture & checking that it foams.
Mix in the eggs, vanilla, salt & then add flour until the dough begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
While the dough is rising, make the filling by cooking the blackberries, blueberries, lavender syrup, brown sugar, lemon juice & cornstarch.
After about 45-60 minutes of proofing in a warm environment, the dough should be double its original size.

Fold & roll the dough into a 12x16 inch rectangle.
Spread the lavender berry preserves over the dough, then tightly roll it up.
Cut the roll into 9 equal pieces, then let them rest in the pie dish while the oven preheats to 350F,
or refrigerate & bake later!
Make the lemon cream cheese frosting while they bake for 25 minutes. Frost & enjoy!
