Carrot Cake French Toast

Perfect for Easter Brunch!

5-star carrot cake made into a loaf, sliced and cooked into french toast, then topped with cream cheese frosting!

Gather your ingredients.

Step 1:

Whisk together the sugars and oil. Add the eggs, vanilla, sour cream and applesauce.

Step 2:

Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and spices into the wet ingredients.

Step 3:

Gently fold the grated carrots into the batter.

Step 4:

Fill a 9x5 inch loaf pan and bake at 350°F/177°C for about 45 minutes.

Step 5:

Make the cream cheese frosting by mixing together the cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar.

Step 6:

Dip slices of carrot bread in egg wash and cook on a skillet over medium/low heat.

Step 7:

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with a dollop of cream cheese frosting. Enjoy!
