Cinnamon Roll Donuts

Cinnamon rolls and baked donuts are combined in this fun and simple small batch recipe!


Gather your ingredients.

Step 1:

Activate the yeast by stirring it into a warm mixture of milk, butter and sugar.

Step 2:

Mix in the yolk, vanilla and salt. Gradually add the flour, knead the dough and let it rise.

Step 3:

Roll the dough on a floured surface into a 12x12 inch square.

Step 4:

Spread cinnamon sugar filling across the sheet of dough and then fold it in half.

Step 5:

Cut the folded dough into 12 equal strips (about 1 inch wide).

Step 6:

Twist two strips together and squeeze the ends together into a circle.

Step 7:

Bake the twisted cinnamon rolls in a donut pan at 350°F until the tops are light tan.

Step 8:

Drizzle the cinnamon roll donuts with cream cheese icing and enjoy!
